From Framing to Photography: My Journey Into Wall Art

In my last email, I shared how my journey began in a framing store over a decade ago, learning the intricate craft of picture framing.

What I didn’t realise at the time was how those years of perfecting my craft would eventually lead me to an entirely new passion, creating photographic interior wall art.

You see, back then, the retail store was stocked with generic prints images you’d see everywhere but rarely connect with.

Over time, it became abundantly clear that customers were searching for something more.

They wanted artwork that truly matched their interiors, reflected their personal style, and told a story.

The problem? Most of the prints available were either mass-produced stock images with no originality or limited-edition pieces priced far beyond their budgets.

Worse yet, the framing often failed it didn’t elevate the artwork, fit the space, or stand the test of time.

That’s when I had a vision
What if I could create those prints myself, frame them with the care and quality I’d mastered, and offer them at an affordable price?

The idea was exciting, but there was just one challenge I wasn’t a photographer (yet).

However, growing up, I had a granddad who was absolutely obsessed with photography.

He didn’t just take pictures; he taught me how to see the world differently, to notice the light, the composition, and the story behind every image.

Those memories stayed with me, and they gave me the confidence to take the leap.

I’ve always felt a deep connection to the sea—a sense of calm and vast openness that has inspired me for as long as I can remember. It felt natural to focus my photography on capturing the beauty of coastal landscapes.

I bought my first camera and began the journey. I spent countless hours learning, experimenting, and failing—over and over again. It took me years to refine my craft, but I never gave up. My goal wasn’t just to take photos; it was to create meaningful pieces of wall art that could transform spaces.

Every photo I captured and every frame I handcrafted became part of a bigger vision: to make high-quality, beautiful wall art accessible to everyone.

Thank you for being part of this journey—it means the world to me to share this story with you, and I can’t wait to show you what’s next!

Warm regards,
